Position Overview
The Executive Director of Operations is charged with developing and implementing the company's operational strategies, ensuring effective execution across all business units. This role encompasses leadership in enterprise operations management, strategic project delivery, operational improvements, resource management, and collaboration between teams to meet strategic objectives efficiently and sustainably.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and direct the enterprise-wide operational execution strategy and yearly plans.
- Develop and implement a standardized management framework to enhance operational efficiency and digital transformation.
- Manage daily business operations, ensuring continuous improvement in service quality and operational efficiency.
- Lead and coordinate strategic projects, overseeing progress, resolving operational challenges, and resource alignment.
- Develop operational performance metrics, analyze financial and efficiency data, and propose optimization measures.
- Map, streamline, and standardize business processes by applying methodologies such as Lean and Six Sigma to reduce costs and boost execution.
- Allocate resources effectively while fostering collaboration across departments including Sales, Marketing, Product Development, R&D, Supply Chain, Finance, HR, and Customer Service.
- Establish systems for risk management, internal controls, compliance, and emergency responses ensuring alignment with corporate policies.
- Drive digital operation initiatives, including ERP, CRM, BI platforms, and adoption of AI and automation tools to improve decision-making and transparency.
- Enhance customer experience by refining service systems and workflows to increase satisfaction, retention, and brand loyalty.
- Build and develop operational teams, implement performance management practices, and cultivate a culture of execution and high performance.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations, Economics, Engineering Management, or a related discipline; an MBA or master’s degree is preferred.
- At least 25 years of professional experience in operations or business management with over 15 years managing large teams.
- Proven history of leading enterprise operation systems, strategy implementation, organizational change, and large-scale project oversight.
- Experience in industries such as technology, healthcare, finance, manufacturing, internet, or enterprise services is advantageous.
- Strong competency in operations management, strategic execution, project and risk management, process optimization, business analysis, and cross-functional leadership.
