About South Australia Police Executive Assistant Role
The Executive Assistant supports the Assistant Commissioner by delivering high-level, confidential secretarial, administrative, and research assistance in alignment with organizational goals. This ongoing full-time position is based in Adelaide, South Australia, requiring strong cooperation with various internal and external stakeholders, including those with confidential needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive executive support including managing sensitive information and communication.
- Build and maintain productive relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Effectively prioritize competing demands within a fast-paced environment.
- Anticipate and proactively address the Assistant Commissioner’s needs.
- Participate in SAPOL’s iEngage program to support organizational development.
- Undertake additional duties at the same remuneration level as required.
- Occasional out-of-hours work and intra/interstate travel may be necessary.
Candidate Requirements
- Eligibility: Must have current Australian work rights and pass a criminal history screening.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with strong business acumen.
- Highly organized with a meticulous attention to detail.
- Resilience, adaptability, and lateral thinking ability to handle complex situations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
