Role Overview
We are seeking an Ethics and Independence Analyst for a fixed-term contract of 7 months, working 37.5 hours per week on-site in Auckland. In this role, you will provide expert advice and practical assistance on a broad spectrum of ethics and independence issues, including managing conflicts of interest and compliance with global and local independence policies. Your support will help our teams make informed, compliant decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond promptly and accurately to queries related to personal independence.
- Assist in the development and rollout of initiatives that enhance adherence to independence policies.
- Support vital ethics and independence procedures such as compliance audits, confirmations, independence clearances, external roles management, risk training, resource maintenance, and updating the Publicly Held Audit Client (PHAC) list.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for ethics and independence systems and tools.
- Implement System of Quality Management (SoQM) controls related to ethical standards, along with human resource and technology controls pertaining to ethics and independence.
Candidate Profile
- Previous experience in administration, business support or customer service roles, with comfort interacting with multiple stakeholders.
- A proactive mindset with a strong eagerness to learn and grow.
- Excellent teamwork skills, able to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
- Strong organizational capabilities, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
