Position Overview

The University of Canterbury invites applications for a permanent Engagement and Learning Librarian who will lead the operation and development of the Library Makerspace within the Puaka James Hight Library in Christchurch. This key role focuses on creating an inclusive, innovative environment for students and staff engaging in technology-driven and creative activities that promote collaboration, learning, and student success.

Core Responsibilities

  • Manage and promote the daily operations and strategic development of the UC Library Makerspace.
  • Design and implement instructional programmes, workshops, and events that inspire creativity and innovation.
