Overview
Premier Staffing Solution is hiring an Employee Experience Specialist to support a smooth and well-organized employee journey from the first day of onboarding through the full employment cycle. This full-time exempt role is remote, but it must be performed from the Eastern Time Zone in the United States and reports to the Employee Experience Manager.
The position suits someone who is highly organized, detail-driven, and people-oriented, and who enjoys working in a fast-moving environment while balancing employee service, compliance, and operational accuracy.
Employee Onboarding and Workforce Operations
- Handle the complete onboarding workflow, including creating new hire records in ADP, completing E-Verify steps, and sending welcome messages.
- Coordinate background checks and drug tests and keep the pre-employment process moving on schedule.
- Assist new hires with onboarding requirements such as I-9 paperwork, direct deposit setup, and access to company systems.
- Process terminations and rehires while keeping employee files complete and accurate.
- Support staffing and workforce growth efforts when hiring volume is high.
- Partner with HR and Operations teams to provide additional support wherever needed.
- Follow federal, state, and internal employment policy requirements.
Systems, Records, and Compliance
- Keep employee information updated across HRIS platforms, onboarding trackers, and other internal systems.
- Handle employee updates, separation records, and status changes while keeping systems synchronized.
- Run routine audits to confirm that records and reports match across tools.
- Spot and correct issues related to payroll and HRIS data, including pay rates, job codes, and onboarding discrepancies.
- Act as a secondary reviewer for client and MSP audits and confirm all required documents are in order.
- Oversee Do Not Use documentation and related reporting.
- Help improve onboarding processes, tracking tools, and written procedures.
Employee Support and Communication
- Answer employee questions and concerns and escalate issues when needed.
- Work with HR, Recruiting, Payroll, Operations, and Client teams to share onboarding and employment updates.
- Communicate status changes and compliance-related updates in a timely manner.
- Contribute to efforts that improve engagement, satisfaction, and employee feedback.
- Support a collaborative culture focused on continuous improvement.
What the Employer Is Looking For
- At least 2 years of experience in Human Resources, workforce operations, recruiting support, or a similar area is preferred.
- Prior exposure to background screening vendors and onboarding workflows is preferred.
- Strong accuracy and close attention to detail are essential.
- Excellent organization and time management skills are needed to juggle multiple priorities.
- Strong verbal and written communication, follow-up, and customer service skills are important.
- The candidate should be self-directed, proactive, and able to solve problems independently.
- Comfort in a fast-paced, collaborative, team-based environment is important.
- Experience with ADP or another HRIS platform is strongly preferred.
