Electrical Engineer

Role Overview

This position calls for a skilled Electrical Engineer with practical experience in electrical systems typically found in commercial infrastructure. The candidate will focus on safety audits and electrical installation assessments across diverse sites such as offices, banks, ATMs, petrol stations, and commercial buildings throughout India.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site visits to various commercial and banking facilities to examine electrical installations.
• Perform detailed electrical safety audits for these facilities to ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Recommend necessary remedial actions to mitigate electrical risks and prepare budget proposals for corrective measures.
• Compile comprehensive reports highlighting electrical and fire safety conditions, pointing out critical issues requiring urgent remediation per audit guidelines.
• Willingness to travel extensively across India for auditing purposes, with travel allowances provided by the employer.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Possess a degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering (B.Tech, B.E., or Diploma in Electrical).
• Have 1 to 2 years of hands-on experience in the electrical engineering domain.
• Proficient with basic electrical testing instruments such as multimeters, IR testers, and earth testers.
• Experienced in handling electrical equipment including diesel generators, servo stabilizers, and uninterruptible power supplies (UPS).
• Knowledge and practical experience working with 440-volt supply lines.
• Familiarity with electrical installations commonly found in commercial buildings.
• Ability to diagnose and rectify electrical faults effectively.
• Exposure or involvement in solar service or auditing activities is a plus.
