Position Overview

As a Dishroom Lead at Sodexo based at the University of Southern Indiana, you will play a pivotal role in guiding your team and ensuring smooth kitchen operations. Working Hours & Employment Details

The role offers flexibility with variable shifts and days, with a preference for candidates who can maintain open availability. Opportunities exist for both full-time and part-time employment. Hourly pay ranges from $15.77 to $19.00, with specific working hours detailed during the interview.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the cleanliness and upkeep of kitchen areas, including workspaces, equipment, and utensils.
• Perform dishwashing duties either by hand or using dishwashing machines, along with polishing silverware.
• Sweep, mop, and clean floors as well as remove waste to designated disposal areas.
• Clean worktables, walls, refrigerators, and meat blocks thoroughly.
• Manage the transfer of supplies and equipment within storage and work areas like the pantry and dishroom.
• Ensure punctual attendance and reliable shift coverage.
• Adapt to additional duties as necessary, depending on business needs and client requirements.

Candidate Profile

• At least one year of relevant work experience is preferred.
