Director of Research and Consultancy

Position Summary

The Director of Research and Consultancy at Ghana Technology University College will provide academic leadership and oversee research and consultancy activities. The role requires a seasoned academic with a strong network and proven success in securing research funding.

Qualifications and Experience

• Doctoral degree (PhD) with a distinguished track record in academic leadership.
• Wide-ranging academic connections with national and international research entities.
• Proven ability in acquiring public and private research and innovation funding on both domestic and international levels.
• Minimum five years of experience in tertiary education, including at least three years in leadership roles such as Faculty Dean or Head of Department.
• Academic credentials with teaching, research output, and service qualifications warranting appointment at minimum to senior lecturer rank.
• Expertise in proposal preparation, grant submission, monitoring, reporting, and managing budgets related to funded projects.
• Proficiency with software tools for managing grants and related administrative functions.
