Key Responsibilities

The Director will collaborate closely with senior leadership and investment teams throughout the entire investment life cycle. Responsibilities include originating deals, shaping investment strategies, executing transactions, conducting due diligence, performing financial analyses, and managing portfolios. This role is pivotal in establishing the firm’s investment approach in the education sector, pinpointing thematic investment opportunities, and fostering portfolio value enhancement.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

• Possess between 10 and 15 years of extensive experience at leading private equity firms, investment banks, or comparable investment platforms, specifically with significant involvement in the education sector.
• Demonstrated success in sourcing, executing, and managing investments, including leading full-cycle transaction processes such as origination, due diligence, valuation, execution, and portfolio oversight.
• Comprehensive knowledge of international education markets, including insight into current trends, diverse business models, and critical value drivers within various subsectors.
• Proven leadership skills, including experience in developing or scaling investment verticals or strategies within institutional settings.
• Strong proficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and analytical assessments, coupled with excellent communication skills and the ability to manage stakeholders effectively.
• Capacity to thrive in dynamic, entrepreneurial environments and engage confidently with senior internal and external parties.
