Role Overview
Located in Newcastle upon Tyne, this is a fixed-term contract position for 6 months. Candidates must include a portfolio with their application, as applications without portfolios will not be reviewed. The role involves supporting the digital creative team by producing high-caliber digital assets encompassing static and motion design across campaigns, web, email, social media, and motion graphics. Collaboration with digital content marketing and global regional teams is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver diverse digital requests to the Brand Team, managing both static and motion content.
- Create launch assets for new product development and eCommerce sales events, evolving concepts into final live assets and managing regional rollouts.
- Design website landing pages, homepage takeovers, social media content (static and motion), PPC banners (static and animated), motion elements for campaigns, product launches, and social channels.
- Produce motion graphics and animations including storyboarding, colour correction, audio editing, effects, and editing content adaptable for multiple platforms and aspect ratios.
- Design and update website assets using CMS tools like Magento or Shopify, with a focus on mobile-first design, UX/UI principles, web accessibility, SEO, wireframing, prototyping, and A/B testing banners.
- Design and construct consumer emails tailored for regional markets using email platforms such as Bloomreach and Klayvio.
Required Skills and Experience
- Demonstrable proficiency in both static and motion design, capable of managing briefs from ideation to execution.
- Advanced expertise with Adobe Creative Cloud and Figma, including Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere Pro, Adobe XD, and Figma.
- Solid experience working within eCommerce frameworks and applying brand guidelines digitally.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and presentation skills, with receptiveness to feedback.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, able to work independently and in teams.
- Analytical mindset with a focus on solutions and continuous improvement.
