Role Overview

We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our DevOps team situated at the intersection of infrastructure, deployment, reliability, and developer support. You will directly collaborate with development teams to build and enhance the platforms powering our solutions. This role involves two primary focus areas:

• Developer Experience (DevEx): Transforming developer interaction with infrastructure by facilitating independent service ownership and deployment while maintaining security and scalability.
• Platform Optimization & Efficiency: Enhancing performance, reliability, and cost efficiency of our global multi-region Kubernetes clusters.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS primarily using Infrastructure as Code techniques like Terraform.
• Design and refine CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions ensuring robust deployment and release processes.
• Administer and tune multi-region Kubernetes clusters.
• Maintain and optimize Helm charts and deployment workflows.
• Enhance observability through monitoring, logging, and alerts with clearly defined alert ownership.
• Strengthen infrastructure security via image scanning, policies, network and firewall configurations.
• Work closely with product engineering teams providing infrastructure support.
• Empower developers to deploy and manage services independently.
• Participate in business hours on-call rotations.

Candidate Profile

• At least 3 years of experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, or software engineering roles.
• Proficient with cloud platforms, preferably AWS; Azure or GCP experience is also applicable.
• Strong background in creating and managing CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies.
• Hands-on experience managing production Kubernetes environments.
• Expertise in Docker and container technologies.
• Familiarity with observability tools covering monitoring, logging, and alerting frameworks.
• Excellent collaboration skills to aid engineering teams.
• Focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence.
• Fluent English communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential to lead platform engineering across diverse teams and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.

Additional Desirable Qualifications

• Knowledge of networking concepts.
• Experience with C# or TypeScript programming languages.
• Background managing infrastructure across multiple geographic regions.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
• Product-oriented mindset geared to understand and support internal customers effectively.
