Every solution is guided by principles of design excellence, urban regeneration, inclusive context, and marketability.Learn more about our Residential Portfolio.As a Designer, you will work with other members of the design team in order to develop design solutions appropriate to the context, budget and aesthetic requirements of architectural projects. You will collaborate with other professional disciplines and have opportunities to coordinate the design through all phases of the project.Duties and ResponsibilitiesCompiles information from reports and published documents; evaluates and analyzes the information to understand broad requirements of projectDevelops architectural designs, to ensure an exemplary solution is delivered that meets quality parameters, project timelines and budgetary requirementsCoordinates design intent with other disciplinesIntegrates engineering requirements, site surveys and field review information, adhering to applicable codes and jurisdictional requirementsPrepares design reports, drawings and models following office standardsPerforms site visitations to determine compliance with construction documents; identifies any deviations and liaises with owner and contactor to resolve issues in a timely mannerReviews project products, services, and shop drawings to ensure adherence to project documents, relevant jurisdictional codes and corporate quality controlsRequired SkillsExperience in all phases of the project cycle is requiredArchitectural design software skills including Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, PhotoShop, and other architectural design softwareFamiliarity with MEP and Structural building systems and building codes is requiredHave successfully completed related post-secondary educationRegistered with a relevant professional architectural association is an assetRequired Experience7-10 years of project work experienceExperience in Residential projects is an assetSalary Range: $70,000.00 - $105,000.00 /annuallyPlease mention the word **MAGICAL** and tag RMmEwMTo0Zjg6MWMxODo4ODc5Ojox when applying to show you read the job post completely (#RMmEwMTo0Zjg6MWMxODo4ODc5Ojox).
