Role Summary

We are seeking a Design Draftsperson to join our engineering team at our Kilburn head office as part of our ongoing growth. In this position, you will collaborate closely with engineering and manufacturing departments to create drawings that effectively convey design concepts and manufacturing needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate detailed technical drawings utilizing SolidWorks software.
• Develop drawings that clearly express both design intentions and manufacturing specifications.
• Evaluate and review existing drawings, models, and assembled components.
• Support various engineering projects and contribute to product development efforts.

Candidate Profile

• Experience in mechanical design, drafting, or modelling is essential.
• Familiarity with CAD tools such as SolidWorks or equivalent software.
• Understanding of manufacturing operations and how to represent them through technical drawings.
• High attention to detail with a commitment to learning and improvement.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience

• Experience working within workshop or manufacturing environments is advantageous.
• Possession of a Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field, or a mechanical trade background.

Compensation

The annual remuneration for this role is between 79000 and 93000 AUD, aligned with Adelaide market standards.
