Responsibilities

• Drive delivery vehicles safely within designated areas to deliver orders.
• Operate all store equipment as necessary.
• Stock ingredients from deliveries to storage, workstations, and walk-in coolers.
• Prepare products as required.
• Answer and process telephone orders efficiently and accurately.
• Maintain inventory records and complete related paperwork.
• Ensure daily cleaning of equipment and facilities.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Possess a valid driver’s license with a clean, safe driving record meeting company standards.
• Have access to a personally insured vehicle eligible for deliveries.
• Demonstrate customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with customers and coworkers both in person and by phone.
• Possess strong navigational skills to read maps and locate addresses within assigned delivery zones, including multi-level buildings.
• Provide documentation of at least 2 years of licensed driving history in the U.S.

Driving Record Standards

• Uninterrupted driving history of at least 1.5 years in the last 2 years, with no suspension at the start of that period.
• No more than one violation and one at-fault accident within the past 2 years.
• No serious violations in the last 5 years including DUI, reckless driving, leaving the scene, hit and run, or excessive speeding (30+ MPH over limit).
• No distracted or inattentive driving violations in the past 3 years.

Physical and Work Environment Requirements

• Work involves standing for most tasks and walking short distances on various surfaces.
• Lift and carry products and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds, occasionally lifting items to heights of up to 72 inches.
• Move trays of dough and other supplies using manual dexterity and coordination.
• Withstand temperature variations ranging from coolers at 36°F to hot work areas exceeding 90°F.
• Exposure to food odors, cornmeal dust, and hot surfaces from ovens.

Skills and Abilities

• Mathematical ability to quickly and accurately add, subtract, multiply and divide for monetary transactions.
• Efficient use of point of sale systems via computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong motor coordination for precise, speedy tasks.

Training and Advancement
