Role Overview

The Deals Manager for the Buy-Side is responsible for managing the entire buyer-side process at Nami. Responsibilities include securing signed buy-side mandates from active acquirers, sourcing and reaching out to potential target businesses (including those not currently on the market), and managing the exclusive Nami Alliance platform. This invitation-only platform grants verified buyers access to our mandates and sets standards for membership.

Additional duties include screening opportunities, conducting commercial and financial analyses, preparing deal summaries and recommendations, and coordinating interactions among buyers, sellers, and advisors. The role also involves supporting due diligence and documentation processes to maintain progress within the deal pipeline, supported by accurate record-keeping on the platform.

Work Environment & Reporting

This is a full-time, hybrid position based in Riyadh or Jeddah, with the expectation of regional travel. The role reports directly to the CEO and is supported by an analyst dedicated to this desk.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Three to four years of experience in Big 4 deal advisory (transaction services, valuations, corporate finance, M&A), a regional boutique, investment bank, or equivalent principal-side role at family offices or private equity firms.
• Fluent native Arabic speaker in Saudi or Gulf dialects with professional proficiency in English; most buyer interactions are conducted in Arabic.
• Strong analytical capability to interpret financial statements and engage in valuation discussions directly with buyers' CFOs.
• Proven track record of winning or significantly contributing to client engagements beyond mere service delivery.
• Comfort and proficiency with outbound origination, dedicating approximately 60% of time to relationship management with acquirers and business owners.
• A bachelor's degree in finance, business, economics, or related fields is required; designated certifications such as CFA or CVA are advantageous.
• Proficiency in CRM and deal-management platforms, with disciplined and consistent usage.
• Preference for Saudi nationals; GCC nationals or Saudi-based candidates with a strong regional buyer network will also be considered.

Compensation

The base salary corresponds to the Big 4 Manager level benchmark within Saudi Arabia. Variable pay components depend on the number of mandates signed and successful deal closures.
