Job Responsibilities

• Oversee and expand databases that support AI-based products.
• Guarantee high availability, dependable performance, and data consistency.
• Enhance database performance and optimize storage solutions.
• Develop and maintain strategies for backup, recovery, and disaster preparedness.
• Collaborate closely with engineering teams on data architecture and infrastructure planning.

Qualifications and Experience

• At least 10 years of experience in database administration or data infrastructure engineering.
• Advanced expertise in SQL and thorough understanding of database internals.
• Practical experience managing cloud-based databases.
• Strong background with backup systems, recovery processes, and high availability implementations.
• Proficiency in automation tools and scripting languages.

Preferred Credentials

• Experience supporting AI or analytics-related database workloads.
• Knowledge of distributed database systems.
• Experience managing databases across multiple regions.
• Expertise in cost management for database infrastructures.
• Familiarity with data security and regulatory compliance measures.
