Role overview
The Data Entry Analyst supports day-to-day business operations by entering, checking, and interpreting data with a high level of accuracy. This position focuses on keeping records reliable, spotting inconsistencies, and helping improve overall data quality for reporting and operational use.
In this role, you will work with spreadsheets, databases, internal tools, and multiple data sources to capture, organize, and validate information. You will also assist with basic analysis, reporting, and documentation that help teams make informed decisions.
The position blends routine data entry work with light analytical and reporting duties, making it a good fit for someone who enjoys both structured information handling and data review tasks.
Key responsibilities
- Input, revise, and maintain information in databases and internal platforms.
- Check records for correctness, completeness, and consistency.
- Spot and fix errors, gaps, and mismatched data entries.
- Carry out simple data validation and analysis tasks.
- Prepare summaries, reports, and other data-related documentation.
- Support efforts to improve data quality and preserve data integrity.
- Keep digital files and datasets well organized.
- Work with other teams to resolve information issues.
- Handle information confidentially and follow data handling procedures.
- Assist with additional reporting and administrative work when needed.
Qualifications
- Excellent accuracy and a careful eye for detail.
