Overview
We are seeking a seasoned Data Engineer to join a high-impact technology initiative focused on delivering scalable and efficient data engineering solutions. The role is based in Canberra and offers a hybrid work setting.
Key Responsibilities & Skills
- Develop and maintain data pipelines to support diverse data operations.
- Manage data migration processes and ensure data modeling aligns with analytics requirements.
- Leverage hands-on experience with Python and data streaming technologies such as Apache Kafka and Apache NiFi (or similar) to build robust data systems.
- Incorporate DevSecOps principles in the development lifecycle within Agile team environments.
Requirements
- A minimum of five years of professional experience in data engineering roles.
- Proficiency in Python programming and expertise in data streaming tools.
- Solid understanding of data pipelines, migration, modeling, and analytics techniques.
- Experience working with DevSecOps frameworks and agile methodologies.
- Must be an Australian citizen eligible to secure NV1-level government security clearance.
