Data Annotator

Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Annotator to remotely contribute to annotating video and audio data. This contract position allows for flexible commitment ranging from 10 to 40 hours per week with compensation from $6 to $10 per hour.

Key Responsibilities

• Carefully label video and audio data consistent with precise project guidelines and protocols.
• Evaluate and refine existing annotations to ensure data precision and uniformity.
• Detect and document unusual or unclear cases requiring additional examination.
• Work closely with project coordinators to clarify annotation standards and resolve questions.
• Keep detailed logs of annotation progress and meet submission deadlines.
• Offer constructive feedback about annotation tools and procedures to enhance workflow efficiency.

Candidate Requirements

• Proven experience in annotating multimedia data, especially videos and audio files.
• Strong attention to detail and systematic approach to handling complex data labeling tasks.
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written, to understand and communicate requirements effectively.
• Competency in following detailed and specific annotation instructions accurately.
• Ability to manage remote work independently with minimal guidance.
