Role Overview
The Data Analyst role supports warehouse operations by converting operational data into useful insights that improve productivity, quality, labor utilization, and customer service. The position works closely with operations leadership to spot trends, build reports, and support decisions in a fast-moving distribution setting.
The right candidate will bring strong analytical ability, communicate findings clearly to business leaders, and create reporting solutions that can scale with the operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Examine operational performance data to uncover trends, improvement opportunities, and underlying causes.
- Build, update, and manage dashboards, scorecards, and recurring reports using business intelligence tools.
- Track key operational measures such as productivity, quality, throughput, inventory accuracy, labor utilization, and service levels.
- Work with operations managers on labor planning, staffing analysis, and capacity forecasting.
- Perform on-demand analyses to support business initiatives and process improvements.
- Turn complex data into clear, practical recommendations for frontline and senior leaders.
- Check data accuracy and troubleshoot inconsistencies across different systems.
- Streamline recurring reporting by automating manual processes wherever possible.
- Support continuous improvement efforts through statistical analysis and performance tracking.
- Share insights and recommendations with cross-functional stakeholders.
Qualifications
- 1 to 3 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, supply chain, manufacturing, or distribution operations.
- Advanced Excel capability, including PivotTables, Power Query, Power Pivot, and complex formulas.
- Ability to write SQL queries for data extraction and analysis.
- Hands-on experience with Power BI, Tableau, or comparable business intelligence platforms.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to balance multiple priorities in a dynamic operational environment.

Pay and Compensation
Expected starting salary range: $65,000 to $72,000 per year. The company notes that this range may be adjusted based on market conditions and location, and final compensation will be discussed directly with the selected candidate in accordance with applicable law.
