Key Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and proper zoning of the Dairy/Frozen section to keep it ready for customers at all times.
• Perform regular stock rotation and check for expired items to uphold product freshness and quality.
• Ensure merchandise is priced and signed accurately, following procedures for ordering, clearances, markdowns, and labeling.
• Adhere to food safety and cold chain protocols including temperature monitoring, thermometer calibration, proper food handling, and sanitation practices.
• Support merchandising efforts by maintaining promotional and display features in the department.
• Keep work areas neat, clean, and free of hazards by removing spills, debris, and unnecessary items while complying with company policies and health and safety guidelines.
• Exhibit flexibility by working various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed to support business operations.

Challenges

• Manage high task volumes efficiently in a fast-changing setting, especially during overnight shifts.
• Plan work hours effectively to sustain energy and focus throughout shifts.
• Perform physically demanding duties such as standing for long periods, lifting inventory up to 50 lbs, and repetitive stocking and organizing tasks with precision.

Compensation

The starting hourly wage for this role is $17.75.
