Role Overview
This permanent, Monday-to-Friday position from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM involves joining an enthusiastic, seasoned team focused on delivering outstanding customer service and specialist product guidance. Key duties include overseeing inbound customer communications, handling orders and quotes, following up proactively on sales prospects, and cultivating strong relationships to expand existing accounts. This role provides an excellent chance to broaden your product knowledge, refine your sales expertise, and positively influence both customer satisfaction and business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond effectively to inbound phone, email, and trade counter enquiries, ensuring superior customer service and boosting sales.
- Enhance sales figures by customer follow-ups, account expansion, outbound prospecting, and promotional activities.
- Generate quotes, process purchase orders, and manage sales opportunities using Salesforce, SAP, and associated platforms.
- Develop solid customer relationships, offer knowledgeable product advice, and identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling.
- Coordinate closely with sales, warehouse, and logistics teams for accurate order fulfillment and excellent customer experiences.
- Assist warehouse staff with picking and packing orders as needed.
Candidate Requirements
- Verified background in customer service and sales, including experience handling inbound and outbound calls as well as upselling techniques.
- Excellent communication and relationship management capabilities.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Able to prioritize tasks and excel in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, CRM software, and ERP systems like SAP, plus a readiness to learn new technology.
- Possession of a forklift license is advantageous for supporting operations.
