Company Overview
Situated in Tuas, Singapore, this strategic concentrate manufacturing facility serves as a key export hub specializing in producing and supplying beverage concentrates and bases. The plant supports business units across the ASEAN, South Pacific, and Southwest Asia regions, with plans to double its manufacturing and warehousing capacity within the coming 3 to 5 years. Transportation is provided two ways from selected MRT locations island-wide.
Position Summary
The Customer Service Specialist plays an essential role in customer interaction and order fulfillment within the CPS Singapore operation. This role involves direct engagement with customers from the Pacific Group and ASEA region, managing demands, orders, and outbound logistics while collaborating closely with business units and bottlers to ensure accurate forecasting through Collaborative Planning, Forecasting and Replenishment (CPFR). Serving as the customer’s representative, this role advocates for customer satisfaction and timely delivery.
Primary Responsibilities
- Manage demand and sales orders using E-Supply Chain and SAP systems, initiating manufacturing processes to satisfy customer requirements and maintaining order lifecycle oversight.
- Drive forecast accuracy through leadership of CPFR activities in partnership with business units and bottlers.
- Conduct regular Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) sessions and service reviews with customers, including on-site visits in South Pacific and ASEAN regions.
- Handle customer complaints by logging issues within 24 hours, coordinating investigations with CPS departments, offering status updates, implementing corrective measures, and performing trend analyses to improve customer satisfaction.
- Oversee outbound logistics ensuring all shipment documentation and registrations are complete and coordinate shipment and container bookings.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related fields.
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in manufacturing, customer service, or a related supply chain function, with practical knowledge in demand and order management.
- Familiarity with advanced Microsoft Excel, Access/SQL, and SAP Query is a plus.
