Position Summary
Joining Walmart Canada as a Customer Service Manager offers an excellent opportunity to grow your expertise within the retail sector. The primary responsibility involves managing front end operations to deliver outstanding customer service, fostering positive shopping experiences and building customer loyalty. Additionally, the role ensures adherence to company policies and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Enforce safe work practices and emergency protocols, including safe lifting, maintaining cleanliness, evacuation procedures, register downtimes, emergency codes, and theft prevention.
- Address concerns of customers and staff, providing necessary guidance and support.
- Supervise all Front End associates to guarantee adequate coverage, coordinate breaks, and assist registers as needed.
- Train associates on system usage and company policies, such as scanning procedures, productivity targets, discounts, Electronic Article Surveillance (EAS) systems, and safety guidelines.
- Manage purchase, return, and exchange transactions ensuring accuracy, providing approvals, and verifying adherence to company standards.
- Maintain the functionality of EAS systems by overseeing cashier deactivation procedures, greeter issue handling, and completing “Failure to Deactivate” logs.
- Prepare registers for opening and closing, support cashiers by providing change, maintain cash levels at front end, and conduct audits for register accuracy.
- Promote and manage company-sponsored programs like credit card services, product protection plans, charitable initiatives, and discount offerings.
Compensation
This position offers a starting hourly wage of 17.70 CAD. (Equivalent minimum wage applies.)

- Applicants must be at least 16 years old.
