Role Overview

As a Customer Service Assistant at BoyleSports in Clonakilty, you will play a vital part in delivering excellent customer interactions through a friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful manner. This role involves supporting the Shop Manager and team to ensure the store operates smoothly with high standards, handling betting transactions, and providing an outstanding experience for all customers. Occasionally, you may manage shop operations including opening and closing duties.

Main Duties

• Support the Shop Manager and Assistant Manager in daily shop operations.
• Take charge of the shop operations during absences of management, including opening, closing, and guiding the team.
• Manage cash handling procedures efficiently and accurately.
• Handle bet acceptance as per guidelines, utilizing betting terminals and EPOS systems effectively.
• Act as a brand ambassador by promoting multi-channel and digital customer engagement.
• Maintain shop presentation standards consistently throughout shifts.
• Uphold safety, compliance, and operational protocols at all times.
• Work effectively under pressure, seeking ways to improve both personal performance and shop operations.
• Champion social responsibility and introduce customers to available in-shop and online products and services.
