Role Overview
This position is a part-time, freelance, and fully remote role encompassing responsibilities as an International Trade Finance Consultant/Manager or Country Manager. The appointed individual will lead the marketing of SVG's product offerings and services, manage the company's operations within a specific country, craft and execute business strategies, ensure adherence to local legal requirements, and foster business expansion. Daily duties involve budgeting, stakeholder relationship management, and directing a team of professionals to meet organizational objectives.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Preferably candidates who are importers-exporters in sectors such as agricultural commodities, petroleum, gas, oil, steel materials, logistics, freight, cargo, shipping, aviation, gold export and production, commodity manufacturing, brokerage, real estate development, engineering (road and railways), building development, automobile sales, garment manufacturing, or related trade fields.
- Experience with digital sales and marketing strategies, including social media platform postings, call center agent management, and lead/client generation is desirable.
- Commodity traders and business owners in garment/apparel/clothing sectors, logistics officers/specialists, shipping officers/specialists, procurement managers/officers, CEOs, founders, chairpersons, directors, operations heads, real estate developers, mining industry professionals, producers, manufacturers, brokers, bank managers, and other trade business proprietors are encouraged to apply.
- Familiarity with banking instruments such as Letters of Credit (LC), Standby Letters of Credit (SBLC), and other pertinent financial tools is essential.
- At least three years of experience in trade finance consulting, banking operations, or trading business is preferred.
- Strong skills in business strategy formulation and development, coupled with knowledge of local laws and regulations, are necessary.
- Demonstrated leadership and effective team management capabilities.
- Excellent communication and negotiation proficiency.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment with flexibility.
- Experience in financial engineering or the tech industry is advantageous.
