Role Summary

The Country Counsellor will undertake dual responsibilities of advising students on studying overseas and managing relationships with business partners. This role demands excellent communication, sales acumen, and strong negotiation and relationship-building capabilities in a target-driven framework.

Key Duties

• Guide students and their families on overseas study options, evaluating profiles, academics, goals, and budgets to suggest appropriate countries, courses, and institutions.
• Engage leads through calls, meetings, and follow-ups to convert prospects successfully while maintaining thorough records of counselling and conversion activities.
• Foster and sustain partnerships with study-abroad agents and consultancy firms, addressing their needs and supporting their admission processes.
• Identify and exploit opportunities to grow business with both existing and new partners through continuous engagement and coordination with internal teams.
• Manage and track the entire counselling to conversion pipeline, striving to achieve monthly and quarterly targets across counselling, conversions, and revenue.
• Stay abreast of evolving international education trends, admission criteria, and destination-specific regulations to provide accurate guidance.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A bachelor's degree in any field is required.
• Previous exposure to the fields of study abroad consultancy, overseas education, student counselling, international admissions, or comparable B2B/B2C sales experience is preferred.
• Candidates must be open to working onsite in Vadodara, Gujarat, and relocating applicants from Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar, or Surat are welcome.
