Role Overview

The Cook will be responsible for preparing and cooking ramen and other menu offerings according to Ninja Ramen's prescribed recipes and quality standards within a bustling kitchen setting. Daily duties encompass ingredient preparation, portion control, timing of cooking processes, dish presentation, and adhering strictly to food safety and sanitation regulations. The position involves teamwork coordination, keeping track of inventory, and making sure orders are accurately and promptly fulfilled. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Doha, Qatar, requiring the flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays as necessary.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Proficient in food preparation and cooking, ideally with experience in Japanese cuisine or ramen preparation.
• Familiarity with kitchen operations, including strict adherence to hygiene, food safety standards, and correct use of kitchen equipment.
• Ability to efficiently handle a fast-paced environment with multiple simultaneous orders and maintain uniform food quality.
• Strong team-player capable of effective communication and collaboration with kitchen and front-of-house personnel.
• Keen attention to detail, dependability, and dedication to keeping the kitchen clean and orderly.
• Prior experience working as a cook or in professional kitchens; halal food preparation knowledge is beneficial.
