Content Studio Stylist

Role Overview

The Content Studio Stylist is responsible for planning, preparing, and implementing the visual styling of product setups used in photography and video content within the Marketing Content Studio at CITY Furniture. This role ensures the styling aligns with brand standards and supports creative storytelling through collaboration with Creative and Merchandising teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and style furniture arrangements and product-centered scenes for environmental photography and product detail videos, adhering to both creative directions and brand guidelines (50% of role).
• Manage styling inventory by pulling, returning, and maintaining props and decorative items used in shoots to keep the inventory organized and readily available (20%).
• Assist in setting up and dismantling shoot sets including selection and staging of items before shoots and ensuring proper storage after shoots (20%).
• Collaborate on-set with Photographers, Art Directors, and Styling Supervisors to adjust and enhance styled scenes in real time during shoots (10%).
• Participate in daily team meetings, stylist coordination sessions, and updates across departments.
• Follow assigned standard operating procedures and document any newly developed standards relevant to the role.
• Perform additional tasks as needed adapting to changing business conditions.

Education and Experience Requirements

Minimum of a high school diploma is required. An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Design, Fashion, or a related discipline is preferred. Candidates with at least two years of experience in styling, visual merchandising, or studio production will be favored.

Work Conditions

• Standard hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
• Occasional extended hours may be necessary for off-site shoots.
• Travel is minimal, less than 10%, primarily for off-site shoots.

Physical and Technical Requirements

• Ability to stand for prolonged periods and lift items weighing up to 20 pounds.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides).

Additional Requirements

Possession of a valid driver’s license is necessary.
