Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Container Repairer to join our team at the Transam Depot in Panmure, Auckland. This role is suited for individuals who are eager to actively engage in hands-on work in a dynamic environment. Candidates with skills in welding, steel cutting, painting, and light fabrication, or recent welding certification, have an excellent opportunity to establish a career in the shipping container sector.

Key Responsibilities and Requirements

• Meticulous attention to detail to ensure high-quality repairs.
• Strong organizational and time management capabilities to meet depot deadlines effectively.
• Ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
• Self-motivated with a solid work ethic and dependable attendance.
• Prior container repair experience is advantageous; however, training will be provided for the right candidate.
• Ability to successfully pass Ministry of Justice and ACC screenings, as well as drug and alcohol testing as part of the hiring process.

Working Hours and Compensation

This role is based at our Panmure facility, with a minimum commitment of 40 hours weekly from Monday to Friday, between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM. Flexibility to work overtime as required is necessary, including rostered Saturdays from 7:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Overtime is remunerated at time and a half.
