Overview
We are looking for a dedicated Consultant to join our Operations & Transformation team in Canberra. This permanent position offers the chance to advance your career by working on a variety of stimulating client projects as part of a leading team in the sector.
Primary Responsibilities
In this role, you will collaborate directly with prominent public-sector clients to tackle their critical and complex business challenges, specifically focusing on operational improvements. Your daily activities will include:
- Contributing to a high-performing team committed to delivering client value and operational excellence.
- Engagement with inspirational government programs and organizations.
- Utilizing unique capabilities such as Structured Problem Solving, Design Thinking, Digital, Data Analytics, and insights from a global network.
- Participating in comprehensive operations and transformation-centric training and development initiatives, blending formal education and hands-on experience.
- Collaborating with leading management consulting professionals to address Australia's top organizational challenges.
About the Team
The team specializes in enhancing operational performance within government entities by tackling significant and complex issues—from adapting to new regulations to implementing advanced technologies.
Candidate Profile
Ideal applicants will have some or all of the following attributes and experience:
- Experience in consulting or using problem-solving techniques.
- Proficient with structured problem-solving frameworks.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a talent for building client relationships.
- Strong and adaptable facilitation and interpersonal communication skills.
- Expertise in conducting analyses including research, data examination, and information synthesis into clear reports.
- A natural curiosity and proactive mindset to propose innovative ideas.
- Possession of at least an AGSVA baseline security clearance.
