Compressor Mechanic

Job Overview

The Compressor Mechanic role involves executing preventive, corrective, and emergency servicing on industrial compressors and related mechanical devices to maintain safe, dependable, and efficient plant functioning.

Educational and Experience Requirements

• Possess a diploma in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
• At least three years of hands-on experience in compressor maintenance.
• Experience working in cement manufacturing plants or other heavy industry environments is advantageous.

Primary Duties

• Conduct regular preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial compressors.
• Identify and diagnose mechanical issues and malfunctions.
• Carry out overhauls and repairs on compressors and their components.
• Perform equipment alignment and replace bearings, seals, and other mechanical parts as necessary.
• Engage in maintenance activities during plant shutdowns.
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols and maintenance standards throughout all tasks.
