Commis de Rang with Focus on Conference Service

Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and personable Commis de Rang (m/w/d) specializing in conference service to join our team full-time immediately in Bamberg, Bavaria, Germany. Passion for engaging with guests and dedication to excellence are core to this role.

Responsibilities

• Prepare conference rooms, coffee breaks, and various events such as weddings, birthdays, and corporate gatherings.
• Ensure cleanliness and completeness of event spaces prior to start.
• Guarantee smooth service operations within the conference area.
• Provide attentive support during conferences and events.
• Assist with lunch and dinner service as part of meetings, banquets, and events.
• Supervise temporary staff, interns, and trainees.
• Maintain compliance with HACCP hygiene regulations and safety guidelines.
• Properly clean all equipment, machinery, materials, and furnishings.
• Provide instruction and training to trainees.

Qualifications

• Completed education in hospitality or gastronomy.
• Some previous service experience is an advantage.
• Enjoys working with guests and managing events.
• Strong teamwork skills and dependable work habits.
• Well-groomed appearance.
• Friendly and open personality.
• Excellent German language skills.
