About the Role
As a Commercial Analyst in Gallagher Security’s Commercial team, you will turn data into meaningful business advantage. Your work will draw on financial, pricing, customer, product, and operational information to help leaders make better decisions that improve growth, profitability, and overall performance.
You will work closely with the Commercial Manager and Pricing Analysts to solve complex business problems, develop commercial models, identify opportunities, and deliver recommendations that have a measurable impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out commercial analysis to support strategic and day-to-day decision making across Gallagher Security.
- Review business performance, identify the main drivers, and convert findings into practical actions.
- Bring together financial, pricing, customer, product, and operational data to spot patterns, risks, and opportunities.
- Design and maintain strong financial and commercial models for planning, forecasting, scenario evaluation, and investment decisions.
- Communicate insights in a clear and business-focused way to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Refine analysis methods, reporting, templates, and tools to improve commercial decision support.
- Look for opportunities to apply automation, AI, and new analytical technologies to increase efficiency and insight quality.
About You
You are a curious, commercially aware analyst who looks beyond the raw numbers to understand what is truly driving performance. You enjoy working through complex information, recognising trends and opportunities, and turning analysis into recommendations that support stronger business decisions.
What You Will Bring
- A tertiary qualification in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent experience in a commercial or analytical setting.
- Proven background in a commercial, financial, business analysis, or analytical role that supports decision making.
- Strong ability in analysis and modelling, including work with complex datasets and analytical tools.
- Commercial understanding of the factors that influence business performance, growth, and profitability.
- Experience using ERP, CRM, business intelligence, or similar systems to support analysis.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to present evidence-based recommendations clearly to different stakeholders.
- A proactive, organised, collaborative working style with careful attention to detail and data quality.
