Zr3i is an innovative agricultural carbon infrastructure startup leveraging satellite data, agricultural information, and measurement, reporting, and verification (MRV) technologies to transform farms into quantifiable climate assets. The company has established its technological framework and is expanding its project development architecture.

Role Overview

We seek a founding-level partner to take ownership of developing carbon projects related to agriculture. This key leader will manage project development, MRV and methodology strategies, stakeholder relationships including farmers and institutions, and the entire validation and verification processes. Responsibilities also include shaping the economics and commercialization of carbon credits, engaging carbon buyers, and constructing a scalable pipeline of carbon projects.

Expertise and Expectations

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of agricultural carbon projects, soil carbon, land-use, and MRV frameworks. Familiarity with carbon standards such as Verra/VCS and methodologies VM0042 and VM0047 is highly valued. Beyond technical expertise, this role demands a proactive builder and operator mindset to drive projects from concept to realization.
