CNC Machine Operator - Laser Cutting, Engraving & CNC Router

Job Overview

We seek a competent and meticulous CNC Machine Operator specialized in laser cutting, laser engraving, and CNC router machines to produce top-quality signage and custom fabrication items. This role involves working with materials such as acrylic, MDF, PVC, ACP, wood, among others typically used in signage manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate machines for laser cutting and engraving on acrylic sheets and various other materials.
• Manage CNC router machines to create 2D and 3D signage products.
• Interpret production drawings and design files accurately.
• Prepare machines by setting them up with the correct tools and adjusting necessary parameters.
• Ensure precise cutting, engraving, routing, and finishing to meet quality benchmarks.
• Conduct regular maintenance to keep equipment in optimal working condition.
• Inspect final products to guarantee adherence to quality standards.
• Reduce material waste and enhance machine productivity.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain cleanliness in the work area.
• Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure timely project execution.

Qualifications and Skills

• Between 1 and 3+ years’ experience operating CNC laser cutters, engravers, or CNC router machines.
• Proficiency in handling acrylic sheet cutting and engraving.
• Background in producing both 2D and 3D signage items.
• Competence in reading and understanding technical drawings and layouts.
• Fundamental knowledge of machine upkeep and problem-solving.
• Strong attention to detail with a dedication to quality outcomes.
• Capability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.

Desirable Competencies

• Previous experience in signage production.
• Familiar with materials including Acrylic, ACP, MDF, PVC, Wood, Foam Board, and Metal Sheets.
• Working knowledge of design software like CorelDRAW, AutoCAD, or similar tools is advantageous.

Employment Details

This is a full-time position offering a salary commensurate with experience and skills, ranging from 15000 to 18000 INR per month.
