Position Summary
The Client Support Representative plays a vital operational role within the Client Support team, primarily focusing on medical documentation retrieval and processing, assisting with client reconciliations, and supporting prebill queue management. Although the role involves no direct interaction with clients, it requires close collaboration with the Client Delivery team to relay operational insights and escalate significant client-related issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Obtain medical records from client systems such as implant invoices, UB-04 forms, Explanation of Benefits, and other components.
- Regularly submit and track document requests to ensure timely receipt of claim documentation.
- Scan, upload, and securely store medical records and sensitive patient health information in compliance with company data security standards.
- Collect and organize data for preparing client reconciliation reports and assist in resolving discrepancies related to closed, returned, or missing claims.
- Maintain prebill work queues by meeting set performance benchmarks and assisting with issue resolution.
- Collaborate closely with Client Delivery colleagues to communicate operational findings and escalate concerns affecting client operations.
- Identify recurring workflow gaps or system issues and escalate them for corrective action.
- Accurately document account activity within the E360 platform promptly as tasks are completed.
- Utilize multiple systems to ensure precise and timely data entry supporting smooth operational workflows.
- Comply with established standard procedures and contribute feedback for process improvements.
- Perform additional tasks as required to support department efficiency and interdepartmental collaboration.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is mandatory.
- At least one year of experience in healthcare operations, revenue cycle, or managing medical documents is preferred.
- Knowledge of medical claims documentation and payer-provider data processes is advantageous.
- Proficiency in standard office software including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook is required.
- Capability to handle high work volumes with meticulous attention to detail and work independently under limited supervision.
- Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills within fast-paced environments.
