Job Overview

We strive to deliver exceptional customer experiences that highlight our clients' success. As a day Cleaner, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of our facilities to a superior standard. The working hours for this position are from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of floors, washrooms, and garbage receptacles throughout the facility.
• Sanitize washrooms, common spaces, and entrance areas thoroughly.
• Restock supplies such as toilet paper, hand towels, and hand soap as needed.
• Dust accessible surfaces including countertops, pillars, light fixtures, window ledges, and vents.
• Perform spot-cleaning of all lobby floors and conduct deep washing as necessary.
• Vacuum entrance mats located in lobby areas.
• Prepare student rooms by performing turnover cleaning tasks.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Previous floor maintenance experience including scrubbing, buffing, and polishing floors is advantageous.
• Capable of operating cleaning machinery such as auto scrubbers, swing machines, burnishers, among others.
• Effective communication skills for liaising with supervisors, clients, and the public.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong work ethic combined with a positive and proactive attitude.
• Physical capability to lift loads up to 25 pounds regularly.
• WHMIS certification preferred; training can be provided if necessary.
• Physical stamina to bend, stoop, stand, reach various heights, and carry up to 50 pounds for durations of 3 to 8 hours per shift.
• Must pass a clear criminal background check as a condition of employment.
