Position Overview
The role of Cleaner involves delivering consistent cleaning and labor services within the Rail Mechanical department, ensuring safety and efficiency at all times. This position reports directly to the Supervisor of Equipment Maintenance and is based in Englehart, Ontario.

Core Responsibilities
- Clean and wash railway equipment, coaches, components, and workshop areas thoroughly.
- Adapt to evolving methods, techniques, materials, and equipment used in cleaning processes.
- Comply strictly with safety protocols including the mandatory use of protective gear and equipment.
- Fulfill additional tasks as delegated by supervisors.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Possess a Secondary School Diploma or GED equivalency.
- Exhibit strong communication skills, both oral and written.
- Demonstrate effective organizational and planning capabilities.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively within a team setting.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, and outdoors in varying weather conditions due to 24-hour operations.
- Previous experience in cleaning or labor-intensive roles is advantageous.
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety standards.
