Category & Promotions Assistant

Role Overview

As a Category & Promotions Assistant, you will support the execution of promotional campaigns and category projects that influence product presentation across our retail outlets. Reporting directly to a Category Manager, your role involves managing product information, coordinating store communications, and assisting with key trading activities. Working within a team of planners, you will gain valuable insights into the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector while enhancing your commercial, merchandising, and category management expertise.

Primary Responsibilities

• Maintain product, article, and pricing information within merchandising systems.
• Coordinate updates related to product ranging and new product launches.
• Oversee the administration of private label initiatives and the necessary documentation.
• Develop communications materials to facilitate retail execution in stores.
• Provide assistance to Category Managers and Planners in daily category operations.

Candidate Profile

Ideal candidates may currently be working within supermarket, retail, merchandising support, or administrative roles and thrive in dynamic environments. Additionally, candidates should possess:

• Exceptional accuracy and meticulous attention to detail.
• Strong organizational abilities with effective time management to meet multiple deadlines.
• Proficiency at an intermediate level with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and the broader Office suite.
• An analytical approach with confidence in data handling.
• A willingness to learn and develop professionally.
