Role Overview

This full-time, on-site position as Camp Boss in Dubai entails managing the daily operations of staff accommodation camps. Responsibilities include overseeing housekeeping, accommodation logistics, catering coordination, and maintenance activities to maintain a secure, hygienic, and orderly living environment for personnel. The Camp Boss supervises camp workers, handles room assignments and occupancy management, monitors supplies and inventory, and liaises with HR and project teams regarding employee movements and welfare.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure proper maintenance and cleanliness of camp facilities.
• Supervise camp staff ensuring efficient task completion.
• Manage accommodation allocation and occupancy tracking.
• Coordinate catering services and related vendor activities.
• Monitor inventory of supplies and materials for camp operations.
• Implement health, safety, and hygiene standards in line with local regulations.
• Report incidents and manage emergency responses promptly.
• Maintain records related to camp management and compliance.
• Manage contractors and service providers engaged in camp maintenance.
• Continuously improve living conditions and services within the camp.

Candidate Requirements

• Prior experience in labor or staff accommodation management, preferably in a camp boss or similar role.
• Strong leadership and team supervision skills that support diverse workforces.
• Good understanding of health, safety, hygiene protocols and basic maintenance relevant to accommodation camps.
• Organizational and record-keeping capabilities coupled with basic computer proficiency.
• Effective communication skills in English; knowledge of additional regional languages is beneficial.
• Familiarity with UAE labor laws, accommodation standards, and regulatory requirements around staff housing.
• Ability to work on-site in Dubai and manage operational priorities under pressure including emergency situations.
• Minimum educational qualification: High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or managerial training in facilities, hospitality, or related domains is an advantage.
