Описание работы

About the Role

NAI Coffee is seeking a Cafe Manager to own the full-day running of its cafe operations. This role sits at the center of service delivery and is responsible for leading the team, shaping guest experience, driving sales performance, managing hiring and training, and ensuring that quality, safety, and operating standards are consistently followed. The position reflects the brand’s belief in Presence over Performance and Hospitality as a Feeling.

This opportunity is based in Noida, with additional locations mentioned across Delhi, Noida, Faridabad, Gurgaon, Mumbai, Bangalore, and Hyderabad.

Core Responsibilities

  • Oversee all cafe operations from opening to mid-shift and closing, including walkthroughs, cleanliness, ambience, equipment readiness, menu availability, and compliance with operating procedures.
  • Direct and support the cafe team, including Baristas, Stewards, Captains, Shift Managers, and Assistant Managers; manage hiring, attendance, grooming, punctuality, shift briefings, task allocation, coaching, and ongoing development.
  • Evaluate team knowledge regularly on food, coffee, desserts, pricing, and menu details; run monthly quizzes and provide corrective training where gaps are found.
  • Maintain an active floor presence, observe service quality and team coordination, handle guest complaints, manage waiting areas and table movement, and collect guest satisfaction feedback.
  • Manage walkie-talkie allocation, charging, storage, and working condition, while ensuring consistent call-sign usage and professional communication.
  • Handle communication with neighboring premises and landlords regarding noise, disturbances, and planned maintenance in a courteous and proactive manner.
  • Track billing accuracy, POS activity, cash handling, and shift closing; compare POS and dashboard sales, verify cash handovers, maintain sales reporting, and update the manager logbook with operational and financial notes.
  • Monitor stock, shortages, and wastage; enforce FIFO practices, coordinate replenishment needs, maintain PRP records, and conduct daily tasting checks for sauces, fillings, and other key ingredients.
  • Complete quality-control sheets, flag inconsistencies, and ensure corrective steps are taken promptly.
  • Maintain daily shift records and share weekly and monthly reports on performance, challenges, and wins; coordinate closely with service, kitchen, and management teams.
  • Apply emergency procedures for power cuts, health incidents, and guest disputes, and ensure drills and emergency contact lists are kept up to date. Operational and guest issues must follow the escalation chain of Cafe Manager, Assistant Manager, and Shift Manager, and should not be handled independently by Captains, Stewards, or other staff.
  • Ensure food safety, hygiene, sanitation, pest-control records, daily cleaning completion, and monthly deep-cleaning requirements are met.
  • Lead monthly stock audits and operational/service reviews, track gaps, wastage, feedback, and hygiene compliance, and manage repair-and-maintenance reporting for equipment, utilities, furniture, and structural issues through the Area Manager/Head Office.

Experience, Education, and Skills

Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree or diploma in Hotel Management, Hospitality, F&B Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline. The role calls for 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in cafes, restaurants, hospitality, or premium F&B operations, including 2 to 3 years in a managerial position overseeing outlet operations end to end.

Candidates should have proven experience in busy cafe or restaurant environments and should be comfortable with team recruitment, training, guest experience, cost control, inventory handling, SOP compliance, and sales management. Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, decision-making, and guest-handling skills are important, along with working knowledge of POS systems, inventory tools, food safety, hygiene standards, maintenance coordination, reporting, and operational audits.

Eligibility

Any graduate may apply, and candidates with a B.Sc. in Hospitality and Hotel Management are also eligible.

Additional Information

The role is associated with multiple city locations: Delhi, Noida, Faridabad, Gurgaon, Mumbai, Bangalore, and Hyderabad.

Salary is listed at INR 4,00,000 to 7,50,000 per year.
