Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

  • Obtain and analyze supplier quotations, negotiate pricing and terms, and make supplier recommendations based on cost, quality, and delivery performance.
  • Advance company sourcing strategies and procurement programs.
  • Verify purchase request details including nomenclature and specifications.
  • Evaluate market prices and optimal quantities to maximize savings.
  • Develop procedures and instructions for purchasing processes.
  • Issue purchase orders and change notices, informing suppliers and relevant internal teams of any changes or delivery issues.
  • Assess supplier capabilities in supply, logistics, and inventory to forecast material availability.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records through systems or paperwork management.
