Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated professional with 4 to 8 years of pertinent experience in Business Continuity Management (BCM). This individual must be an effective communicator capable of working under high-pressure situations, especially during crises. The role requires close cooperation with cross-functional teams to ensure adherence to international standards such as ISO 22301, enhancing crisis readiness and promoting a resilient safety culture.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of BCM initiatives across all Global Service Centers (GSCs) within your domain, ensuring full compliance with the BCM framework.
  • Conduct key BCM activities including Business Impact Analysis (BIA), process risk assessments, develop and maintain Functional Business Continuity Plans (FBCP), and deploy suitable recovery strategies.
  • Regularly update and review the inventory of critical processes and activities.
  • Collaborate with migration managers to incorporate new or altered processes within the BCMS framework.
  • Maintain the recovery strategies to reflect current business requirements accurately.
  • Organize monthly Business Continuity Plan (BCP) awareness training for process employees.
  • Ensure preparedness of processes at your site for contingencies by updating vital records such as shift schedules, contact details, access permissions, maintaining BCP pool staffing information and rotation policies on SharePoint, updating exception matrices, and managing cross-training resources.
  • Execute BCMS tasks like revising business continuity strategies, contact listings, and FBCPs as needed based on recovery strategies.
  • Conduct scheduled BCMS testing and training in partnership with Process Continuity Officers (PCOs).
  • Serve as the single point of contact during crises to coordinate recovery efforts amongst PCOs.
  • Oversee and verify process recovery in alignment with FBCPs during incidents.
  • Report recovery progress regularly to Process Leads.
