Business Operations Analyst

Role Overview

We seek a driven and meticulous Business Operations Analyst to enhance our Operations team. This pivotal position ensures seamless management of offline channels and nurtures partner collaborations. The role involves negotiating operational expenses with external vendors, performing data analytics, streamlining workflows, and supporting senior management with business insights and development from an operations viewpoint.

The incumbent will lead technical operations management, foster strong communication with stakeholders, and champion business process improvements. Close coordination with internal teams and external partners is essential to provide strategic advice and bolster key initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in projects aiming to refine processes, governance frameworks, and performance measurement systems.
• Conduct thorough data analysis to aid decision-making, detect patterns, and offer strategic solutions to senior leadership.
• Develop comprehensive reports and presentations that summarize project statuses, insights, and recommendations for executive review.
• Support operations strategy formulation through market research and analytical reporting to guide management decisions.
• Deliver sales data analytics to the Operations Excellence Team to inform sales approach enhancements.
• Monitor store sales, KPIs, and performance goals accurately to manage sales commissions, incentives, and push monies.
• Assist in the facilitation of new store openings/closings, product launches, and special events.
• Serve as a liaison to co-manage Brand Ambassadors including consolidating rosters and sharing sales data with agencies, nurturing positive vendor and agency relations.
• Identify operational improvements and communicate recommendations to boost efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Oversee relationships with external vendors and suppliers to ensure contractual compliance and quality standards.
• Collaborate with internal teams and legal departments to safeguard organizational interests in contractual agreements.
• Evaluate existing workflows, pinpoint inefficiencies, and propose enhancements to optimize company processes.
• Manage all operational permits, clearances, and renewals, including airport access passes, to ensure uninterrupted operations.
• Ensure timely processing of administrative tasks, such as invoice and payment deadlines.
• Work respectfully and effectively with team members and stakeholders.
• Comply with company retail standards, operating procedures, customs regulations, and related policies.
• Undertake additional tasks assigned by management to meet business objectives.

Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma or Degree in a relevant field.
• 1 to 2 years of relevant business analyst experience within FMCG retail or travel retail sectors.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel (formulas, pivot tables, Power Pivot, data management), PowerPoint for presentations, and Power BI for data visualization (preferred but not mandatory).
• Capability to independently develop reporting templates with embedded formulas.
• Strong adaptability to navigate new challenges and situations with precision and agility.
