Business Intelligence Analyst

Role overview

BMW Group is hiring a Business Intelligence Analyst in Woodcliff Lake, New Jersey, United States. This full-time onsite role is centered on reporting, data analysis, automation, and supply chain support.

Key responsibilities

• Create, enhance, and automate management reports and dashboards by pulling, analyzing, and presenting data through SQL, AWS, Tableau, SAP Analytics Cloud/Datasphere, and Excel.
• Support analytics for business and supply chain teams with scheduled and on-demand extractions, KPI reporting, dashboards, and insights.
• Review complex data, confirm accuracy, and turn findings into practical outputs such as charts, graphs, files, and recommendations for different stakeholder groups.
• Replace manual reporting tasks with automated, one-click reporting processes that work across several systems and data sources.
• Partner with internal users to understand reporting needs, capture requirements, document workflows, convert business needs into technical specifications, and facilitate interviews and review meetings.
• Carry out system and regression testing, assess the impact of system changes, help ensure proposals fit U.S. market strategy, and assist with resolving reporting and supply-chain application issues.
• Deliver technical assistance for supply chain platforms such as ATLAS, DMS, EAI, and mainframe-based layers, including inventory reporting, KPI creation, and support for dealer and field teams.
• Work with teams across functions and locations, contribute to business proposals and case studies, and maintain the hybrid work presence required by the business.

Experience and qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree is required.
• Applicants should bring 3 to 5 years of strong knowledge of BMW parts supply chain processes.
• Applicants should have 3 to 5 years of familiarity with retail parts inventory management concepts.
• Applicants should have 3 to 5 years of experience working with relational databases and SQL concepts.
• Applicants should have 3 to 5 years of working knowledge of SAP SCE, APO, and WM.

• The expected annual salary range is $62,500 to $125,000.
• Final compensation will depend on the selected candidate’s education, skills, experience, and location.
• All pay ranges are based on a full-time schedule.
