Position Overview
We are expanding our go-to-market team with a Business Development Representative (BDR) to engage senior executives across Finance, Procurement, and Operations in top-tier companies. This role plays a crucial part in Vertice's growth, offering a launchpad for advancing into a quota-carrying Account Executive or other senior commercial roles. Equity options are provided to align your growth with the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Initiate and qualify early-stage sales leads through multi-channel outreach.
- Develop relationships with senior decision-makers to understand their procurement challenges and generate interest in Vertice's solutions.
- Collaborate with Account Executives to cultivate opportunities and maintain a robust sales pipeline.
- Create tailored and innovative outreach campaigns that effectively convert prospects.
- Gain deep expertise on the Vertice platform to confidently communicate its benefits.
- Maintain accurate CRM data and be accountable for performance metrics.
- Adapt and thrive in a dynamic, fast-evolving work environment that values curiosity and initiative.
Qualifications and Skills
- At least 6 months of experience in a high-pressure, goal-oriented environment such as sales, consulting, banking, or start-ups.
- Demonstrated track record of exceeding targets or KPIs.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to persuade and build credibility.
- Proactive attitude with a strong desire for learning and openness to feedback, comfortable navigating ambiguity.
- Highly organized, self-disciplined, and responsible for personal outcomes.
- Interest in SaaS, procurement, or B2B technology is an advantage but not mandatory.
