Описание работы

Role overview

HubSpot is hiring a Business Development Representative focused on the DACH market. This position is open to candidates in Germany and can be done remotely from within the country or from a flexible office setup in Berlin. The company welcomes applicants from all educational backgrounds, including people who have recently completed their studies as well as those looking to grow their career in SaaS sales.

The BDR role is centered on proactive customer acquisition and lead qualification. You will work with existing HubSpot leads, re-engaging prospects through calls, email outreach, and social media messaging. Part of the job is to understand each prospect’s business challenges, assess whether HubSpot is a suitable fit, and then clearly communicate the value of the platform in order to spark interest in a deeper conversation with an Account Executive.

You will partner closely with 2 to 3 Account Executives and collaborate daily with them and with other BDRs to build fresh approaches for finding opportunities. Successful BDRs may later move into Account Executive roles within the sales organization.

Responsibilities

  • Drive a high volume of outbound prospecting activity to find and qualify new leads.
  • Work side by side with Account Executives to design and execute customer acquisition strategies.
  • Schedule online product demos for qualified prospects while consistently working toward monthly targets.
  • Use sales frameworks such as BANT to identify customer needs, pain points, and buying potential.
  • Carry out market research to help expand HubSpot’s customer base.

Requirements

  • Strong interest in technology and sales, along with real enthusiasm for helping businesses grow.
  • Prior experience in sales or customer acquisition is not mandatory, though it is considered an advantage, especially in a fast-growing scale-up environment.
  • Fluency in both German and English.
  • A focused, goal-driven mindset with a persuasive and structured approach to execution.
  • Ability to handle objections constructively and openness to coaching and feedback.
  • Excellent planning skills and strong time management.
  • Interest in the technology sector and a genuine motivation to support customer growth.

Benefits and perks

  • Hybrid flexibility with options that take personal working preferences into account.
  • Support from a mentor and the chance to work with a culturally diverse team.
  • Interactive employee training plus a one-month onboarding program to help you settle in.
  • A defined career path with recurring promotion opportunities.
  • Tuition reimbursement of up to EUR 4,250 per year and a free book program for ongoing learning.
  • Access to coaching and therapy through the Modern Health app, plus health-related support such as life insurance, long-term illness protection, and gym reimbursement of up to EUR 250.

Additional information

This is an evergreen hiring role, meaning applications are reviewed throughout the year and the recruiting team may get in touch if your profile matches a current or future opening.

The stated annual cash compensation range is EUR 46,000 to EUR 62,000. This total may include base pay, on-target commission for eligible roles, and annual bonus targets where applicable. Some roles may also qualify for equity participation in the form of restricted stock units. Final compensation is determined using objective, role-related factors such as skills, experience, and qualifications.

HubSpot emphasizes transparent and fair pay practices. The company also notes that it values both flexibility and team connection, and that candidates needing accommodations because of disability, travel limitations, or other reasons should inform the recruiter during the process.

For Germany applicants, the posting includes a gender-inclusive reference of (m/f/d). The company also shares legal and policy notes for applicants in Massachusetts and India, and explains that it may use AI-assisted screening as well as CLEAR ID Verification during hiring. By applying, candidates consent to data processing for recruiting and related workforce planning purposes.
