Position Overview
We are looking for a motivated Business Development Manager (BDM) specializing in Architecture, Construction, and Interior Design sectors. This full-time role is tailored for candidates at a mid-senior level with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience. The position is based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, and is part of the Sales & Marketing department.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough research and analysis of market potential and segmentation.
- Assess competitors to understand existing market dynamics.
- Devise and implement strategic business plans tailored to different market segments.
- Identify and engage new corporate clients and business entities.
- Explore and cultivate new business opportunities within the construction industry.
- Understand client requirements and customize offerings accordingly.
- Collaborate closely with the digital marketing team to develop and execute effective sales strategies.
- Manage contract negotiations and close deals to meet or surpass sales objectives.
- Provide insights to the design development team concerning market needs and opportunities.
- Keep track of market and competitor trends to refine sales strategies continuously.
- Generate leads and create strategic plans to ensure successful project execution.
- Manage end-to-end client relationships ensuring successful project closure.
- Gain deep knowledge of the Interior Design and Construction markets and major participants.
- Establish at least two new business connections weekly.
- Promote and enhance the company brand while seeking new business prospects.
- Maintain and update a database of qualified leads through outbound calls.
- Conduct cold calls to prospect clients and arrange meetings.
- Achieve revenue targets within the assigned geographical area.
- Meet weekly targets related to cold calling, database management, and sales meetings.
- Maintain active sales pipeline and manage the sales cycle from prospecting to deal closure.
- Communicate detailed minutes of meetings to clients after each interaction.

Qualifications and Skills
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Sales or Marketing.
- Preference given to candidates with sales experience in international markets or construction sectors.
- Technical knowledge in Interior, Civil, or Architectural fields is a plus.
- Proactive mindset with ability to learn quickly and work independently.
- Proficiency in communication and negotiation skills.
- Experience with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite is advantageous.
- Proven track record in sales, business development, or related roles within construction industry.
Compensation
The monthly salary ranges between 35000 and 40000 INR.
