Business Analyst

About the Role

Holland Mountain is seeking an experienced ATLAS Business Analyst to join their New York office on a hybrid model (three days onsite: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday). This role offers a salary range of $85,000 to $115,000 along with a comprehensive benefits package. The working hours are 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, from 8:30am to 5:30pm.

The company specializes in transforming how leading Private Capital firms leverage data, through its award-winning consulting services and the ATLAS data platform. The analyst will work closely with consultants to help clients optimize their business using data and technological solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document client business requirements effectively.
• Engage with clients to understand their business processes and identify areas for improvement.
• Create detailed business analysis documentation, including process maps and functional specifications.
• Assist in multiple client project deliveries ensuring quality and timeliness.
• Partner with consulting and technical teams to implement data and technology solutions.
• Manage project-related documentation, risks, actions, and conduct testing activities.
• Present findings and suggestions to client stakeholders for informed decision-making.
• Provide support and mentorship to junior analysts and foster knowledge sharing.

Candidate Profile & Requirements

• Experience in Business Analysis or similar roles within Financial Services; exposure to Private Markets is a plus but not mandatory.
• Strong analytical capabilities and problem-solving aptitude.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage stakeholders effectively.
• Proficient in documenting business processes and requirements.
• Highly organized, capable of juggling various priorities and responsibilities.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio.
• Desirable knowledge of SQL, Power BI, or other data visualization tools.
• A curious and detail-oriented mindset coupled with a drive for ongoing learning and self-improvement.
